After a bit of a hiatus by myself from the world of camping, it is time for a reboot and a refresh of this forum and the associated Facebook Page.
For new members - I am Victoria and this community was set up (using an older discussion platform called Lefora) in 2009. It quickly became a bit of an addiction and led to in person meets and friendships formed and kept to this day. The discussion forum format fell out of fashion as Facebook became accessible and easy to use, however it came at the cost to the community that formed as, in my opinion, the membership grew so large that it was impossible to form any meaningful connections with people. It is quantity over quality. As the community migrated in it's entirety to Facebook, this forum more or less fell into disuse.

However, one page on this forum has been in continual use and that is the campsite map tab along the top. It is not necessary to register to use the campsite map tab. I have used it myself many times as well. It has got out of date, and so I have added a completely new campsite map which is, I think, comprehensive as of January 2022 and because I created it I can also update and remove or add campsites. I have chosen to mainly add Northern Irish Campsites with some in the northern regions of Eire as well. I know that many Northern Irish people have fondness for Donegal, Sligo etc and with good reason. I will continually review and update this content. Please note, I have included all small sites which are run by either the Camping and Caravanning Club or the Caravan Club. Membership of either of those clubs would be required to stay on their sites.
This forum is also set up with a members area. This is totally free to use, but does require to be signed in. The members area is completely optional, as the discussion boards are categorized by area such as 'north coast' and 'Fermanagh Lakelands' and it is your preference whether you want to access those sections or not. It is my intention to not have any campsite owners on this forum, and I have removed any campsite owners from the Facebook group. That is primarily because I want people to feel that they can comment on a campsite without worrying about the reaction of the owners of the campsite.
Onwards and upwards!
